What is a prepaid card?

A prepaid card is very much like a reloadable gift card. Simply put, you add funds to a prepaid card and then use it to make purchases — either online or in-store.

With an ABLE Prepaid Card, you can:

  • Make purchases everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted

  • Add funds from your ABLE account and reload the card as needed

  • Have peace of mind that your funds are FDIC insured* — and all cards are covered by Visa's Zero Liability Policy

With an ABLE Prepaid Card, you cannot:

  • Withdraw money from ATMs

  • Get cash back at stores

  • Access money from an ABLE account without first logging in to your ABLE account

*FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor.

Visa’s Zero Liability Policy does not apply to certain commercial card and anonymous prepaid card transactions or transactions not processed by Visa. Cardholders must use care in protecting their card and notify their issuing financial institution immediately of any unauthorized use. Contact True Link for more detail.
